Message Types

Recurring messages come in several types, each serving different purposes for your stream. This guide covers all available message types and their configurations.

Available Types

StreamChat AI supports four types of recurring messages:

  1. Text/TTS Messages
  2. Uptime Messages
  3. Relate Messages
  4. Random List Item Messages

Text/TTS Messages

Text/TTS messages combine static text with AI-generated content, optionally including text-to-speech functionality.

Uptime Messages

Uptime messages automatically display your stream duration at set intervals.

Relate Messages

Relate messages analyze recent chat to create contextual responses that maintain conversation flow.

Chat History Options

  • 10 Messages (1 token)
  • 50 Messages (2 tokens)

Random List Item Messages

Automatically select and display items from custom lists at set intervals.

Requirements

  • Plain text (.txt) files
  • One item per line
  • Clean formatting

  • Move between intervals
  • Monitor status and errors
